Reward for Meritorious Service.

Rates are as under :-

(a) Annuity for Meritorious Service Medal for MCPO/Equivalent - Rs 200/-

(b) Gratuity for Long Service and Good Conduct Medal - Rs 200/-

Educational Concessions. Rates of assistance/reimbursement available under the three components of the schemes are as under :-

Leave Encashment.

(a) On Superannuation (Up to 21 Mar 2001 )

Note:- Not more than 30 days will be allowed to be accumulated in a calendar year. Annual leave of the year of retirement will be encashed as follows :-

(i) Those retiring on 31 Jan of the year

15 days.

(ii) Those retiring in Feb or thereafter

30 days

Note : Death in the months of Jan and Feb 50% of Annual Leave is admissible for encashment. Fraction of a day shall be rounded off to the nearest day. For example where death takes place on Say 5th, 10th, 20th or 31st January the max encashment will be 2, 4 , 5 and 15 days. Death during February calculation of encashment will be done as above.
