POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN COUNSELLING-CORRESPONDENCE
Prepares you for jobs as counselors in educational institutions, health-care organizations,
corporations, NGOs, and other correction and rehabilitation centres.
The Course: One Year by distance education, in English. Begins
July-August and December-January of each year. It offers extensive and in-depth understanding of
the essentials of human behaviour, psychological testing, research methodology, some basic
techniques of therapy and project work.
Course director: An experienced psychologist and a member of the
American Counseling Association.
Eligibility: A graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian
or foreign University. Those appearing for a Degree examination in the current year can also
enroll themselves on the condition that the Degree certificate is produced before the award
of the Diploma. Examination will be held in important Indian cities at the end of the course.
Students are also required to do project work as part of the Diploma course.
