Sankalp went on an Annual Picnic on the occasion of World Disability Day (3rd December) to “Matsyadarshini”, an aquarium in the city. They enjoyed seeing the colourful underwater world. They had their refreshments at NCB grounds. Children also participated in the event conducted by Disabled Welfare Association at VUDA Children’s theater on the said day. Principal was invited to address a gathering at Ramakrishna Mission on Special Education. Parents were encouraged to attend that event where they met specialists from Hyderabad.

Christmas was celebrated with pomp and gaiety. Choir group from Naval Park sang carols. Children of Pre-Vocational class enacted out the scene from “Nativity” for the whole school. Christmas cake was cut and gifts distributed by “Santa Clause” to all the children. Parveen our assistant teacher came dressed as Santa and danced with the children.
