as an informal group of Ladies in 1948 for rendering assistance to the
Naval Families.

Registered as “Naval Officer’s WIVES association” in Jan 1967.

Rechristened
as WIVES WELFARE ASSOCIATION” in Feb 1986.

NWWA Role - Comprehensive Community Welfare and Development with programs covering all aspects of
community
needs through its Kendra’s in all major Naval Stations.

To keep the WIVES of all Naval Personnel in touch with one another for
their mutual help and benefit.

To carry on developmental programs in times of peace.

all possible help in times of war

Rehabilitation of widows and families of deceased Naval
Personnel.
