1.    Indian Armed Forces are hosting 4th Military World Games (MWG) 07 in Hyderabad and Mumbai from 14 Oct to 21 Oct. These games are conducted to generate friendship and solidarity amongst world's Armed Forces personnel, under the AEGIS of International Military Sports Council (CISM) located at Brussels, Belgium. MWG were introduced in 1995 and have been held in three European countries so far. It is for first time that Asian country is hosting these games. MWG is a mega event both in magnitude and stature and ranks next only to Olympics. 4TH MWG would witness participation from over 5000 Athletes and 1000 officials from 127 nations.

2.  As a precursor to the 4th MWG Indian Navy successfully conducted world Military Sailing Championship in October 06 at Mumbai. During MWG 07 Navy would conducted trithalon and sailing completions at Mumbai. To mark the 200 days to MWG 07 mass runs are being organized by three services at 24 Major cities. Navy is organising runs at Vizag and Kochi on 27 Mar and MWG mascot receiving ceremony at Mumbai on 15 Apr. Every associated unit/organisation should put all out efforts to make it a grand success.
